The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is a group of activities promoting healthier lifestyles. With 3 different activities to choose from...Yoga, WII Sports and Healthy Living, people can participate in one activity, or all three. Class size is small, so activities are offered in 3 months sessions, allowing everyone an opportunity to participate. You must sign up in advance. Yoga - Most people think that yoga is just stretching,  but while stretching is certainly involved, yoga is about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility.  Some stretching postures, breathing exercises and meditation  will  keep your immune system in good shape too.

With the guidance of a certified personal instructor, this activity is available every Monday from 11.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. and every Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Wii Sports - Wii Sports is an interactive gaming product that offers tennis, baseball, boxing, bowling and golf all played indoors.

It is fun, creates great physical interaction, offers a great workout and can even promote stress relief.

With the guidance of a certified personal instructor, this activity is available every Monday at 9.30 a.m.  until 10.00 a.m.

Healthy Living - Healthy,  balanced eating habits provide nutrients to your body.  Nutrients give you energy and keep your heart beating, your brain active, and your muscles working.  It builds and strengthen bones, muscles and tendons and can also regulate body processes, such as blood pressure.

Each week, the Healty Living Activities will explore a different foods, the benefits, how to prepare it and best of all..some taste testing!

With the guidance of an instructor, this activity is available every Wednesday from 1.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.
